Profile

After working at Microsoft Japan, Takaaki joined the University of Tokyo in 2016, where he launched and ran Hongo Tech Garage. Since 2019, as Director of FoundX, he has supported startups and taught entrepreneurship. He shares knowledge mainly through startup-focused slide decks and blog posts. His books include Paradoxical Startup Thinking, Successful Entrepreneurs Choose Their Environment, Implementing the Future, Raising Your Resolution, and Hypothesis-Driven Action.
